Little Shipmates Pre-School aims to be as flexible as possible for the benefit of both children and parents. We open at 9.00am each school day and close at either 3.30pm (Mondays and Wednesdays) or 12.00pm (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays). We take children from age 2 years 6 months until they start school.
The options for dropping off and collecting your child are:

Lunch and snacks
If your child is with us over lunchtime (12.00pm to 12.30pm) on a Monday or Wednesday, please provide a packed lunch. Healthy snacks and drinks are available each morning and afternoon, free of charge.
Funding for your child's place – 15 hours Early Years Entitlement
Children aged three or above at the start of each school term will be entitled to a free place at Little Shipmates (or any other registered Early Years setting in Hampshire) for up to 15 hours per week during term time.
The entitlement to free hours can be shared between different Early Years settings if preferred. You do not have to take the full 15 hours. If you would like your child to attend Little Shipmates for more than just the funded hours, you only pay us for the extra hours. Our hourly rate is set out below. You must commit to your child’s hours at Pre-school at the start of each term.
Fees for unfunded hours
For children under the age of three at the start of term, or for any additional hours not covered by the Early Years Entitlement, the following fees apply:
Autumn term : £3.50 per hour.
Spring term : To be announced.
